The Operating Theatre Department is situated on the 3^rd Floor of the centre it is equipped with facilities for intensive Imaging Procedures and Camera Systems for Arthroscopy and Insufflation procedures.

It is also equipped with a self-contained Central Sterilising Supply service. The Operation Theatre runs on a 24-HOURS basis to cater for off-hours emergencies by a team of specialists and when required.

There are 2 operation rooms available in BINTULU MEDICAL CENTRE To accommodate the needs of the BINTULU population, two operation theatre rooms are the major cases and one for minor or local anaesthesia cases.
